I have been thinking over the paying for storage, and would like to take back my statement of whatever you guys wanna charge for I will buy. I think charging the gamers for more storage is a bad on idea on multiple levels. First of all it affects gameplay. So people that are willing to spend cash on their small upgrades are going to be able to do more than those unwilling or unable. It will alienate a lot of players I think.

I am for anything that does not affect gameplay. I DO NOT want to see new areas that can only be purchased from the store. I would rather get those areas in the future chapters that I will be buying. I DO NOT want to see a gold buying or faction buying option, as that will really upset things.

I can see items being sold with different skins but with same stats, but like what has been posted before I see these creating a void in the ecomony or creating a sense of elitism. I can just see it now WTS *GW Store only sword* 100k+100 ectos. The cost of rare skins already is insane. I do agree with the poster that said if new items were to go on sale they should be account specific, not character specific, cannot be traded, and can be deletetd and returned just like pre-order items.

I would like to see however the keys to every single GW product released, so that they can be merged with my account. I want the GWPSE key, GWP2k6 key, GWPCE key, and I am sure I am forgetting others. I want to unlock everything that has been released. These keys can be automatically merged with the account used to buy them so that a person cant buy these keys for $5-10 (a reasonable price) and then use them to start a new account. Also the ability to get pre-order items. Including the old GWP pre-order items...*sob* I only have the bone idol.

I think the house idea is cool, and I can think of fun ways to implement it. There could be a button in the Guild screen like the Guild Hall one, to take you to your house and then invite people into it. However that is really outside of the scope of Guild Wars. That gets more into the Sims gameplay (from what little I know of the Sims).

EDIT: Actually I'll be a little snarky here and say: I would really just like to see the store regardless of what is for sale in it :).

EDIT2: LMAO sorry another edit. One thing that I think might work as items being sold are the past event items. Such as antlers, santa hats, pumpkin heads, candy cane equipment, gingerbread shields, tengu masks, and others that I am sure I missed.

Character slots, DirectSong music packs and possibly the CE in-game bonuses.

I can see where this is probably going though.. Things we have been asking for since release, other than the materials storage, will probably be charged for. People want a hairdresser? $10 and you will be able to use it.. or worse, if you want to change a characters hairstyle you have to pay $5 each time. I really hope it doesnt go that way. I also hope that in-game items(unless its a novelty item - not weapons, armor etc), gold, pre-made characters, skill unlocks, new locations etc will not be added to the store.

Edit: Anything that takes up an inventory slot which is sold at the store i believe should be un-tradeable, or it would be equivalent to selling gold.

Yeah. What he said.

The whole idea of a store is making some money...right? And you know, I don't begrudge you guys this one bit. Just don't hurt the balanced gameplay.

So I say you should make a collectable set of mini-pets, and sell "boosters" online maybe a set of 30 "commons" 10 "uncommons and 10 "rares", and for $5, you get a pack of 4 common mini-pets and 1 uncommon/rare one.

I also like the idea of upgrading your package to Collector's status for the Divine Aura/Backup Dancers.

Storage? HELLLLLLLL NOOOOOOO

Character slots? sure, if we must

Gold? I'm not even going to say how wrong this idea is.

Mini pets? supposed to be a gift, something special

Content? not sure here, maybe there are some things that could work, but I don't like the thought of it. (yet)

Pins? This seems like a good idea.

If it is a store for real worldy stuff then heck yeah to tshirts, caps, plushies, skill pins and so on and so forth.

As for game stuff, yes to character slots, maybe allow people to upgrade to add divine aura or even buy a new account. But I do NOT want to have to pay for content, gold, weapons, armour, skills, unlocks or any feature that should be free (such as storage and basic char slots)

Many people are here because they cannot (or will not) pay the monthly fee for many of the other MMOs and forcing people to pay seperately for content above the cost of expansions will push that market away.

Would this be like actual money, or using a Trade money for "currency" (Like Flyff/Space Cowboy's Gpotatos or Silkroad Online's silk) And then trade the "currency" for items/upgrades/features?
