Bored of my build so here you go - Perm Mist Form

I've always prided myself on thinking outside of the box, and I feel as if this one of those cases. I found a way to permanently have Mist Form activated so you can then kill them at your leisure. The build does lack energy conservation, but with +4 energy regen I've never had it become a problem. It also lacks a bit of punch, but again, not a problem, I can usually walk around and agro everything and kill them in 1 fell swoop and don't have to wait long for anything to recharge to start again. So here you go.

Elementalist/Ranger

Water Magic - 16 (Glacier's Eye + Superior Water Magic)
Wilderness Survival - 12
Energy Storage - The Rest

Water Attunement - Energy
Serpent's Quickness - Recharges skills 33% faster
Mist Form - Invincible
Glyph of Lesser Energy - Energy
Ice Spikes - Damage
Frozen Bust - Damage

Your other two can be anything, I have Troll Unguent and Glyph of Concentration at this moment.

You also need a +20% Enchantment Weapon/Staff. I'm using Galigord's Stone Staff at the moment.

Basically what you need to do is cast Water Attunement, Serpent's Quickness, then Mist Form. When Mist Form is finished you should be good to agro and blast away with Glyph of Lesser Energy + Ice Spikes + (Glyph of Concentration + Frozen Burst).

When Mist Form starts blinking telling you it's about to end you have about two or three seconds to reactivate it before Serpent's Quickness, it can be a bit close but it's pretty easy. It's very important to cast Mist Form BEFORE Serpent's Quickness, you need it to recharge 33% faster. The third time that Mist Form is about to end, you should also see Serpent's Quickness about to recharge so just wait until it does then cast Serpent's Quickness then Mist Form again.

Serpent's Quickness + Mist Form + Mist Form. Rinse and repeat.

There you have it. A way to have Mist Form permanently activated. If this has been previously posted I'm sorry. I haven't seen it posted here before, so for those that haven't seen it, enjoy.

I did something similar, but with arcane echo from the mesmer line instead of Serpents Quickness.

Keep in mind that you are NOT invincible.

Spells will kill you & so will degen, so you better hope your troll ungent doesn't get interrupted ;)

Well the problem with Archane Echo is that it's only good for 3 Mist Forms. Archane Echo -> Mist Form -> Echo'd Mist Form -> Mist Form (recharged) then it drops while it's still reloading. This build lets you have Mist Form on forever.

As far as interrupts are concerned, it's why I bring along Glyph of Concentration. It only costs 5 energy and recharges in 2 seconds, so it works great.

Oh and this build isn't ment for going against a lot of casters.

There shouldn't be a timelimit on editing. Here's a video going after Minotaurs.

Wow, this build is great. Thanks for sharing it, and excellent job on figuring it out. GW needs more people like you and less people like me...

Couldn't this be a great Forge "walker"?
The always invincibility would be great :D
Too bad you'll get knock downs and degens though. But it's so cool to see ^^
