Poie, in that case with the hammer I would salvage for the +30hp grip and sell it solo. hammers are the least in demand weapon and with a high req and a bad mod like deep wound, most people would buy to salvage for the +30 mod anyway.
I really HATE spending time to trying find buyers to items ... so i have sold item with mods costing up 50k for just some 100 to 200 gold to merchant. This is very frustrating too as I'll never get money to buy fancy armors and such... so what i really, really, really would like to see is a common auction place where people could leave items to be sold to highest bidder and money transfered automatically to my storage. Would be great to buyer too... items sold to merchants now just disappear... this kind of place could be located at least to Ascalon city and/or Lion's arch.

Post the item on rpgtraders.com. All you have to do is log on every day or so to check on it to make sure there are no questions being asked. Its really not a big deal.

Could you post a picture?
Makes sense they would change it, though. Since v50 damage mods go up to 20 (vs 15 for ^50) it would make sense that v50 armor mods would go higher than ^50 armor mods as well.
Thats interesting and not very consistent with previous statistics. They only give you 33% more damage when going from over 50 to under 50, but they will give you 100% more armor.
