As I said in the original post when I started the test, I simply don't have enough attribute/refund points to test out all the elements properly. As it is, I can't really go earn anymore refund points because the 12 FM & 12 Swordsmanship I've got right now chew up what I've got (and that's using a rune). Not to mention people (myself included) only have so much time to run the tests. :P
I fully intend to test the other damage types, but that'll have to be in the future. ^_^
I'd also have to run the other damage types with another character, since I generally can't meet the weapon requirements or simply can't use the spells for holy, dark, and chaos damage.

Personally, I don't really think elemental/holy or whatever resistance matters much.
Who really cares? Most people (I'm assuming) only care about damage. +10 fire resistance is not going to help a pet in PvP, or influence a change in pets for PvE.
In PvE, if the pet is getting attacked, its a dead pet.
In PvP, the pet doesn't get attacked much.

It's at least half true. :P I do a pretty good job keeping my pet alive in PVE, and it has often been the saviour of the party -- it tanked a SandWurm, but died repeatedly. Whenever it ressed it, the worm stopped attacking our warrior hench, turned around, and started fighting the pet. In the end, he saved our lives. 8)
PVP...well...we're going to try and prove pets to be useful in PVP soon enough, but I'd like to wait until we have the test results for all pets in.
So, today, we bring you the Moa Bird! You can thank Ferlin for donating this lovely specimen, named Chocobo.
FINAL ANALYSIS
Moa Bird:
Damage Range: 5-9 (0 BM); 15-24 (12 BM)*
Critical Hit: N/A (0 BM); 32~35, 10% chance (12 BM)
Average damage per hit: 7.1666... (0 BM); 21.7333... (12 BM)
Average Attack Speed: 1 attack/2.032 sec
Average DPS: 10.695 DPS
Armor: 60 AL (takes 100% damage)
*Much like the widow test, there was an odd absence of hits above a certain mark, this time being any hits over 24 during the entire 12 BM test. Given the odd results from the widow test, I ran this one to 30 hits instead of the usual 20, and will continue to do so.
So, here we have it, at long last, the answer to everyone's wonders about the Moa Bird. Unlike the static critical hits we saw on the other pets, the Moa seems to have a bit of a "critical range." Despite the fact that it appears to have a lower maximum damage, the hits in turn seem to be overall more consistent, indicating a tighter damage range and it still cranks out the same average damage and average DPS. The attack speed seems to stick to the 2 second/attack rate like the other pets, so we can dispell the myth of the Moa's rapid attack rate. It also seems to be just as durable as the other pets.
So, that's what we have for now. At the moment, it seems that the only pet worth "swapping" out for it the Black Widow, because of its significantly higher damage. Let's hope that the remaining pets show some variations.
I'm still going to test the difference between Dire and Hearty spiders for good measure though. While most other pets seem to "evolve" though the prefixes, the spider starts at 20 anyway, yet has 3 different name variations. We'll see...
Allright, I was lvl 17, my cat 16, my health was 450 but I did have a minor rune of vigor...so lets call it 400. Using revive animal which revives for 200, my cat only had about a quarter of his health bar...meaning it had almost double my health.
I never knew there were spiders that were tameable. Where is the Underworld? I keep hearing people mentioning that. Also do these spiders poison your oponents or they just hit for regular damage?

^_^... maybe i'll train a warthog now... a friend of mine's L4 warthog killed L5 Stalker with ease... still had 1/5 health i believe... with 0 bm... maybe you should get the result for that pet soon^^

Something happened in the last patch that bugged revive animal, really pissed me off because revive animal only heals for 40-80 hp.
